My approach to counseling
I am a straight-forward and interactive therapist. My belief is that as the client and therapist genuinely connect, new solutions and ideas will emerge. I am a guide and sounding board for your journey. I give specifically tailored homework: asking my clients to try new things and different strategies, then report back on the outcome. I balance compassion with challenge. I am both practical and yet seek to understand the broader origins of an issue. I take delight in seeing my clients get free, grow and become.
I have experience in working with
Adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Many of my clients are struggling in finding satisfaction and meaning in their lives and relationships.
I focus most on anxiety, depression, life skills, communication, emotions, parenting and sex addiction.
I also lead a therapy group for those who are divorcing.

Samaritan Center uses an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system developed by Valant for client intake and subsequent health records management. To set up your account and schedule your appointment, follow these steps, as directed by your therapist and prompted by Valant:- To begin the process, first contact the therapist by email or phone (listed on this page above) to schedule an initial conversation about fit.
- When prompted by an email from Valant, set up your patient portal account using a validation code provided by your therapist.
- Fill out your demographic/insurance information in Valant. Let your therapist know when this is complete.
- When prompted by an email from Valant, complete our eSignature intake packet.
NOTE: All the above steps must be completed before your first session with your therapist.
