My approach to counseling

I love working with individuals and relationships in transition, whether it be between life stages, the coming together or breakup of relationships, or around work or life changes. Often, whatever is spurring you to seek out therapy is some kind of transition—the way of life that was working for you before isn’t working the same way anymore—and it is natural to need some assistance in finding a new balance.

I have a particular heart for relationships whose members are seeking to find a healthy balance between work and family life, especially with professions.

Insurance Accepted

(text for conidition: Low-Fee Clinic is true, no insurance providers selected.) This therapist does not bill any insurance companies as an in-network provider. Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible for partial out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend that you call your insurance company directly to verify whether out-of-network reimbursement is a possibility.

About Low-Fee Clinic Therapists

Low Fee Clinic providers are master’s level clinicians who are supervised by senior staff. The LFC clinicians (externs) serve the needs of many clients who come to Samaritan Center for help. Externs are not eligible to receive insurance payments, but will work with you to arrive at an acceptable fee for service prior to, or at, your first meeting.
If your annual household income falls below $60,000, you would typically be eligible to work with one of the externs.

Make an Appointment

Samaritan Center uses an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system developed by Valant for client intake and subsequent health records management. To set up your account and schedule your appointment, follow these steps, as directed by your therapist and prompted by Valant:
  1. To begin the process, first contact the therapist by email or phone (listed on this page above) to schedule an initial conversation about fit.
  2. When prompted by an email from Valant, set up your patient portal account using a validation code provided by your therapist.
  3. Fill out your demographic/insurance information in Valant. Let your therapist know when this is complete.
  4. When prompted by an email from Valant, complete our eSignature intake packet.

NOTE: All the above steps must be completed before your first session with your therapist.
