A Shared Ministry

Samaritan’s mission since 1960 has been to provide high quality, spiritually integrative therapy that is located in the communities where people live and work. Equally important, we have always offered reduced fees for those with limited financial resources.
To make counseling both affordable and accessible, we have depended over the years on our partnership with many church congregations. Their dedication to sustaining an outreach ministry that provides needed mental health care has changed countless lives.
Some of our partner congregations provide counseling office space where Samaritan therapists meet with individuals, couples and families. Other congregations have made it a priority to make a significant, ongoing financial contribution to Samaritan. The prayerful presence of each of these congregations is a foundational part of our mission.
