My approach to counseling

My approach to counseling will vary depending on the issues to be resolved and the needs of my clients. My theoretical approach is existential, and includes increasing awareness and choices around any given issue within the safety of a genuine authentic relationship. Counseling may include techniques from a number of frameworks such as: Insight-oriented therapy, Cognitive behavioral, Solution focused, and John Gottman’s marital therapy depending on the needs of clients they face life transitions.
