My approach to counseling
I am a straight-forward and interactive therapist. My belief is that as the client and therapist genuinely connect, new solutions and ideas will emerge. I am a guide and sounding board for your journey. I give specifically tailored homework: asking my clients to try new things and different strategies, then report back on the outcome. I balance compassion with challenge. I am both practical and yet seek to understand the broader origins of an issue. I take delight in seeing my clients get free, grow and become.
I have experience in working with
Adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Many of my clients are struggling in finding satisfaction and meaning in their lives and relationships.
I focus most on anxiety, depression, life skills, communication, emotions, parenting and sex addiction.
I also lead a therapy group for those who are divorcing.
