Resource Center for Ministry
Samaritan Center (formerly Presbyterian Counseling Service) has long been recognized as a resource for churches and clergy in this area. We come alongside faith communities in four primary ways: nurturing congregational health, strengthening church leadership, caring for clergy and their families and fostering collaboration among congregational members and among church staff members.

Pre-Marriage Seminar
Samaritan Center provides a small group, four-session seminar for couples preparing for marriage. The focus is on helping couples develop the understandings and the relationship skills that will enhance life-long commitment and growth.
In addition to this seminar, Samaritan has a number of therapists who provide individual sessions for couples preparing for marriage and remarriage. Couples usually meet with the therapist for two to four sessions. This may supplement the counseling couples receive from their pastor or simply stand alone as a preparatory series.
