As a student of insight meditation for the past 15 years, Will's therapeutic work is informed by current research that shows present-centered awareness and acceptance to be strong healing components for people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, disordered eating, chemical dependency, and a growing number of other unwelcome mental states. He embraces mindfulness-oriented psychotherapy in conjunction with cognitive behavioral and narrative approaches in an attempt to bring awareness to the distorted thoughts and beliefs that perpetuate much suffering.
