My theoretic orientation is psychodynamic-informed Existential Therapy. Though I may use directive play therapy with children and make occasional observations and interpretations with adults, the emphasis of the treatment I provide will be on finding the answers within you through the unfolding of our relationship. I try to create and sustain a positive and healthy therapeutic alliance with my clients throughout the therapeutic process. My therapeutic approach is tranquil, dialogical, and collaborative, and I believe there is a place for humor in our work together.  My stance is one of openness and acceptance, with respect for you and your experiences, and a belief in your ability and desire to grow and change. My role is to help you process emotional and communication issues, to foster insight and promote growth. My aim as your therapist is to bring out your strengths and help you reach a place where healing and wholeness can unfold.
