Career Development for Clergy

What do pastors do when, either by intentional choice or in circumstances of change or crisis, they are in a process of evaluating their calling to ministry in light of their spiritual gifts, talents and emotional resources? Too often, when they find that their emotional and spiritual resources are depleted, they feel as if they have nowhere to turn.

At Samaritan Center, we are aware that ministry is both stressful and rewarding. The responsibility of guiding God's people in community can be overwhelming at times, and over time it is emotionally draining.

For more than 25 years, our staff has come alongside pastors in times of transition. They are trained in pastoral counseling and experienced in helping individuals and their families face significant life changes.
